Bus Rules





  1.       Observe same conduct as in the classroom. The bus is an extension of the classroom.
  2.       Be courteous, and keep voices at a minimum level.
  3.       No profane language.
  4.       No drinks, food or candy on the bus.
  5.       Keep the bus clean, by using the trash can.
  6.       Cooperate with the driver.
  7.       Stay in your seat at all times.
  8.       Keep hands, head and feet inside the bus.
  9.       Bus driver is authorized to assign seats.
  10.       No talking when bus is crossing railroad tracks.
  11.       Students must be standing out at the bus stop, the driver will NOT wait on students.
  12.       Wait until the bus stops and the door opens before approaching the bus.
  13.       Use handrails to avoid falls.
  14.       Get to the bus stop at least five minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive (bus times may vary due to  number of students riding on any given day).
  15.       Never walk behind the bus.
  16.       Be sure that the bus driver can see you, and you can see the bus driver.
